Nourishing Tales

Nourishing Tales is a family picnic with storytelling. A collaboration between Unlock the Chains Collective, Oxfordshire County Council Library Service and Oxford Green Week.

The dynamic African and Caribbean Storytelling session has tales to whet your appetite ranging from creation, to food, to looking after our world, to ‘common-sense’!

Experience some of the rituals in these stories such as call and response, create soundscapes to help the storytellers, be in the story, and share in this fun communal activity for the whole family whether you’re 5 or 85.
