ENDING THE SILENCE
Comprising five distinct but linked performance pieces, Ending the Silence is very much influenced by the Black diaspora experience and struggle for justice. Each piece encompasses the contemporary world as well as learning from the past and looking toward the future. The pieces can be performed separately or all together.

An historical reflection juxtaposed with modern day resistance, protest and struggle.

Songs of Protest & Joy (60 mins sound system)
A socially inspired, politically conscious curated playlist presented before or in the interval of performances. Played at the end of performances this would accompany the sharing of food as part of the cultural experience.
Ending the Silence (performance poetry)
The collection of poems created for the performances are to be published in a companion compilation.
#BlackLivesMatter will be performed as part of the Dancin’ Oxford festival at Pegasus, Oxford on 10 & 11 February and at Modern Art Oxford on 23 March.

DANCIN' OXFORD
Dancin’ Oxford is raising the profile and visibility of dance and further establishing Oxford as a recognised hub for vibrant dance activity. 2016 saw its 10th anniversary and the festival continues to grow from strength to strength.
The 2017 Spring programme runs from January 21st to March 12th and includes workshops, performances and events all over the city ranging from newly commissioned performances, work for families and choreography from national and international artists and companies.

BABY BOOGIE
A special regular event for toddlers to explore dance with a live DJ. The daytime disco features hit dance tunes, disco lights and a special chill-out zone for adults and children to relax and refresh. Baby Boogie had been running since 2010 and regularly takes place at Pegasus Theatre in East Oxford. Euton has been DJ for this event since the start.
